My Review:
4.5 stars

First off, I have to say…this definitely brought out the Irish in me. One Night in Dublin was a short, light, fun read that cracked me up. I don’t usually enjoy reading about one night stands (they tend to turn into clichés or into ridiculous, implausible results), so I was a bit wary when picking OND up. I admit, the fact that it was set in Ireland helped convince me, though I wasn’t expecting the amount of Irish culture and…character the author included. I went in thinking the author would just use Ireland as a passport stamp, yet she took the time to really add that aspect into her story, which definitely made me enjoy it more. I also liked how the portrayal of Sive’s one night stand didn’t turn into a total cliché. However, it was the humor and witty dialogues that really sold it for me. I could hear the characters talking in my head, it was so realistic and natural, and I absolutely loved it. And to top all this off, the plot twists alone…well, I won’t spoil them here. All I have to say is, give this a read. It’s a fun read, and very much worth the time and money.

  1. Apologies for the tardy reply, as I was just in sunny California for the last two weeks and mostly without wifi. Thank you so much for hosting me and for the great review. I'm thrilled you liked One Night in Dublin. This story is loosely tied to my Irish Pride series (Kieran's story is in Rhythm of My Heart) if you're curious about his character.
