Vampire vs. Werewolf Blog Hop

Vampires and Werewolves. They are two of the most well known and popular paranormal creatures today. Bones from Night Huntress (Chapter 32 anyone? *wink*) or Alcide Herveaux from the Sookie Stackhouse series, etc. This hop is all about the vampires and werewolves! Are you a vampire lover or werewolf lover?

If you had to choose would you cuddle up with your sexy dangerous vampire throughout the long nights or would you rather a sexy testosterone filled dominate werewolf that let out the most interesting of growls at *ahem* fun moments?

I have to admit it is a hard choice I know! I do so love both! But if you had to choose: vampires or werewolves?

Well, for me, I'd have to go with werewolves. Team Jacob all the way. Why? Because I prefer them. And yes, I do have my reasons. Here are my top 5 reasons (in no particular order):

1.) Sunlight. For starters, I like the sun. I may be a pale night owl, but I do like being able to go out in the sun, especially since I live in the Sunshine State.

2.) People. I'm a social person, it wouldn't do to bite people (though I did get in trouble as a young child for doing that) and either kill or turn them every time I fed. Plus, werewolves are all about packs and family and being social. Vamps? Not so much. They're much more solitary creatures, which I am not.

3.) Diet. Don't even get me started on the diet. Like most wolves (unless you're Kyle from Real Werewolves Don't Eat Meat) I am a carnivore. I will never be a vegetarian and I sure as hell will never be a vegan. I LIKE MEAT. As well as sweets, burgers, Starbucks drinks, smoothies, and lots of other food. Blood? Not such a fan of it. I would hate if I could only  drink blood for eternity.

4.) Life span. I don't want to live forever. I'd love to live a long life, maybe even a few centuries, but for eternity? No thank you.

5.) Appearance. Yes, I know vamps are supposed to be all pale and beautiful, but let's face reality. If you're changed, you don't just magically change into a beautiful vamp, often times you're stuck the way you looked the last day you were alive. Sure, you might be a bit more beautiful and pale, but you mostly look like yourself. What happens if you got changed when you're not at your best? Then you're stuck like that for eternity like Doug Lee in Fat Vampire. Werewolves may be hairy, but I can take that. Plus, if you don't like it, you can always try and get them to shave.

And as for being Team Jacob, two words...Taylor Lautner.
