Christmas WIshes Blog Hop
Hello, and welcome to my stop on the Christmas Wishes Hop! So, I was thinking about what I wanted to write about since I've been writing all about my Chistmas faves for the Merry Menage Hop. So then I decided to share my letter to Santa (stay with me now, it'll all make sense soon). So, here's my letter:
Dear Santa,
It's Emily again! Now, I've been a pretty good girl this year (I've only been naughty a few times, I swear!). I'm even going to leave out tons of cookies and milk for you (not that I'm bribing you or anything...) So, I just wanted to take the time to let you know what I want for Christmas.
1) Kindle: I'm currently using my Ipod to read my books and it's not very good on the eyes. Plus, I've heard great things about the Kindle, and I really want one!
2) Amazon giftcards: I'm currently saving up for a Kindle, so every giftcard counts. Also Santa, I plan on sharing the love too! See, I do loads of giveaways, but I'd like to be able to do even more in 2013! I promise, I do use my giftcards and own money to get prizes to give away (and to pay for shipping). So, it's the gift that keeps on giving. And Christmas is the season to give and receive, so it works well!
3) ARE giftcards: Let's be honest here. I have a huge book habit and I go through books like crazy. Unfortunately, my wallet doesn't like to support my habit. So, I use giftcards to keep me going :)
4) A working laptop: 'Nuff said.
5) BOOKS, BOOKS, AND MORE BOOKS!! I have so many on my TBR wishlist, it's insane. I think I have more books on there then I could possibly ever read, though I will attempt to do so.
6) Socks. Now that I need loads of socks for my job, I have trouble finding even ONE matching pair. So, some socks would be greatly appreciated as well.
So, now that you've seen my list, I'd love if you'd remember me on Christmas Eve when you're handing out gifts to everyone! Also, I'm running a contest on my blog, and others will be sharing their Christmas wishes on it, so if you could check it out and help them as well, that's be awesome! Thanks a bunch Santa!!
Love,
Emily
**********************
So, now that you've seen my letter to Santa, what about you? Leave a comment with your Christmas wishlist (don't forget to include what books you want from your TBR). One lucky winner will win one of the books on their wishlist! Also, I'll be posting up trivia throughout the hop, and give you more chances to win awesome prizes! And, the more you comment, the more chances you have to win!
Also, you can enter for a chance to win the grand prize! Enter for a chance to win a Kindle Paperwhite, a Nook Glow, and a $90 choice giftcard for either Amazon or Barnes and Noble. But wait, it gets better! Both Tablets will come with a book bundle!! How awesome is that?

ReplyDeleteThis question about Holiday traditions was my Kindergarten son's homework. We don't have too many traditions. Every year we make a gingerbread house. On Christmas eve we go to an early church service, then come home and eat Cheese Fondue. Before putting the kids to bed my husband reads "The Night Before Christmas" then the kids open the presents from each other.

We don't really have any traditions for Christmas. The only thing I can think of would be the kids being allowed to get the stockings when they get up in the morning before the parents. We had to stay away from the presents until every one was awake.
