It’s been years since Siris and Julian’s boy band broke up and they all went their separate ways. Now they’ve run in to each other in a little redneck bar in the middle of nowhere, coming face to face with the ghosts of their past and the feelings they never quite grew out of.

Siris is here handing out golden tickets to some new reality TV show for the network that owns his record label. Julian is here to meet up with yet another new partner. On the surface it seems like a coincidence… or is it?

Neither man is happy when they realize that The Parliament of Twilight, who once ruled their lives, means for Siris to be Julian’s new partner. Julian worries about what he could do to Siris. Siris just wants to go back to being a mega pop star and has no interest in being a monster hunter. Thrown together against their will (and better judgment) how will these former friends do on their first case?

Warning: This title is intended for readers over the age of 18 as it contains explicit sex scenes and/or situations (including BDSM/Light Bondage) and adult language, and may be considered offensive to some readers.

Siris felt dizzy as he was led, still blindfolded, down what felt like a long hall.  He was on his knees and Skye hadn't taken his hands out of their bonds.  With them tied behind his neck like this, Siris found he didn't have the best balance as he moved to follow Skye to wherever they were going.  Thankfully, the bartender was taking it slow, not seeming to be in a hurry.

His knees were no longer on rough carpet.  Siris thought they had come into some kind of kitchen.  A few hesitant steps in and he heard more than felt the crinkle of plastic sheeting under his knees.  Siris stopped, a sudden wave of fear washing over him.  He had seen this movie.  A part of him was certain this was the killing room floor.  His body would be taken apart and thrown into the sewers to be eaten by giant rats and no one would ever know what happened.  He whimpered, refusing to move any farther.

Skye pulled his hair firmly.  When all that got was another little whimper, he yanked hard.  The pull threw Siris off balance and sent him sprawling across the plastic.  Siris hit the floor hard with his face.  He slid a little across the slick plastic, ending up in a very awkward position.  He wasn't able to move himself easily and there was certainly no getting away.

“Please don't kill me,” he said as loudly as he dared.  He thought he tasted blood in his mouth.  He licked his lips and felt where he had split the bottom one.

“I don't want to kill you,” Skye assured him, moving around the room, rummaging in drawers and cabinets.  “You have something I want.”

About the Authors:
Dani R.R. Hermit (affectionately called Hermie) and Nevi Star, are the writers who founded Wandering Stars Press.

What do we write, you ask?
Our genre is gay erotica, with a spice of horror, mystery, comedy, drama and sometimes a western or space opera.  We love boys loving boys (in all the wrongest ways).  If you love that too, then maybe we can be friends.  Both Hermie and Nevi have some solo projects in the works, but more on those as they develop.  You can stay up to date on the news from Wandering Stars Press on our blog or Facebook.

Who are we when we’re not writing?
We’re life partners who’ve been together 13 years through all of life’s ups, downs and craziness. Ours has been a long and sometimes arduous road, but it’s only made the journey deeper and more interesting, adding fuel and fire to the stories we can tell.

Nevi is a spirit artist and a shaman. She is a World Walker.  Nevi also does all the covers for WSP's books.  She is currently working on a post-apocalyptic pony novel of her own, a My Little Pony themed tarot deck and a spirit squirrel oracle deck.

Hermie has been studying tarot for 20 years and reading professionally for a small, private clientele for about 13 years. She is also a genius at making sweet treats – homemade candies, cookies, cupcakes. (All gluten free!) She does all the cooking for our little pirate crew (or we would all starve or poison ourselves lol) and loves her neurotic kitten.

What inspires us?
Our first love and inspiration is Japanese Anime & Manga!  We discovered Yaoi and it was all over.  We already had a love affair with slash fan fiction, so taking that to some anime based fics really developed our style into what it is today.  A close second is music.  We create playlists that are character, story-arc or novel specific and play them at top volume while we are driving, writing and sleeping!  We do karaoke in our living room as a means to cleanse our story demons and open up to the next day's work (and because it's a blast to get together with our pirate crew and sing our hearts out!). But we also love TV, movies and books.  You can see which albums, shows, series, etc. are our favorites by following our board on Pinterest.

Sins of the Undead Patriot Review Tour

To save the President, Vaihan must trust the woman who betrayed him.

Vaihan Louchian, Ancient Zombie and Special Advisor to the President, dabbles in contracts for Homeland Security in Washington DC, the only remaining demilitarized zone. His latest mission: to seduce delectable Leera Waltz so he can take down her boyfriend Rowley, leader of the anti-zombie terrorist movement. Vaihan and the President work the Bill of Undead Rights through the Senate, but terrorist attacks rise. The futures of the living and undead are in jeopardy, and Ms. Waltz is not all she seems. Vaihan can’t help being more interested in rescuing her than in his assignment. Any human female who’s willing to put up with the complications of lovemaking with him and his bouts of OCD is worth the hassle.

Vaihan is powerful, intelligent and kind. So not what Leera expected of an undead. When she’s forced to betray Vaihan, she knows he will never understand. She must return to Rowley, and slips deeper into the city’s dark underworld. Then Vaihan’s suspected in an assassination attempt against the President, and Leera has to find the courage to do what’s right and save him, or lose not only Vaihan and the leader of the free world, but her heart and soul.

WARNING: Questionable sexual situations that will disturb some readers, such as abuse, bondage and drug use. Graphic violence and sex, including taboo play. M/F. M/F/M. M/M. And the sexiest undead civil servant you’ll ever meet.

Temptation filled the dark lounge--half-clad human females danced in the center prancing for the zombies, who circled this evening’s “dishes.”
Jaw clenched, Vaihan gripped his glass with a shaky hand. Sure, the government provided his kind cloned meat, but taste didn’t factor in. “I can’t believe it’s cloned human” was false advertising.

A petite blonde glanced his way for the third time and smiled. As she ground her hips to the rhythm of the music, her purple, skintight minidress hiked up her thighs.

He lifted the Lagavulin Scotch with an ounce of pureed organs mix to his lips and downed the contents to quiet the ache at the pit of his stomach. The smoky peat-and-metallic flavor of the dense liquid coated his tongue. Such concoctions helped keep the cravings at bay. However, the elixir only curbed the urge to taste flesh temporarily. The mouthwatering aroma of healthy humans permeated each breath, waking the “urge.”

He slammed his glass down on the bar and headed for the door. It wasn’t easy to be The Undead Poster Boy, when he too, struggled to keep his other needs caged.

The blonde stepped in his path. “Leaving?” Between the mounds of breasts, her cleavage was a deep gorge. She curled her lips upward on one side in what she likely hoped was a seductive smile.

“I’m stepping out a moment.” If she was legal, he’d guess barely. Not worth the risk. Not after every sacrifice he’d made the past thirty years.

“My place or yours?” Need beamed at him in her green eyes. Blue LED lights ran in tubes on the ceiling, flooding her youthful flesh. The bass of trance music thumped at the rate of a victim’s heartbeat when panic set in. An undead never tamed the predator inside.

“Neither.” Tonight she’d find a fix, but not from him. Others of his kind enjoyed toying with their food. He found such activities distasteful, so
these types of clubs weren’t his scene. In the corner, a zombie licked a brunette’s neck and slid his hand up her skirt. Tasting the living didn’t hurt, but left an undead in a state much like blue balls. Her lips parted in a gasp as she rested her head on the wall behind her. An addict, no doubt.

“You sure?” The blonde leaned into Vaihan, pressing herself to his crotch.

Heat from her hip stroked his length, rousing suppressed need. He huffed. Maybe some were more easily swayed. He stepped back.

With wide eyes, she glanced up. “Holy Mother of God, and you’re not even hard.”

“Correct.” Clueless would understate her aptitude. The human females in this bar had no clue what they were getting themselves into. So many tasty treats were scattered about the room offering themselves up for a hit of Z-Luv, the neurotoxin zombies produced in their saliva, blood and semen, which paralyzed their victims in a state of pleasure until the feeding began. In this place, even the oldest of Ancient undead would suffer. Once a human was hooked, they spiraled out of control, losing their appeal. He enjoyed a more responsive lover in and out of bed rather than one half-baked out of her mind. Perhaps he should show her.

My Review:
4 stars

I loved this take on zombies. I'll admit, I usually view zombies as mindless, brain-eating creatures. Here, they're not only intelligent, but they're trying to become citizens. Not something your usual zombie would do. This was well thought out and I would love to see more books set in this world.

As for the plot and the characters, the plot was engaging and interesting, and kept me guessing till the end. I absolutely loved the characters, and I'll admit, I'm never going to look at zombies quite the same again. I'm in love with Vaihan, he's simply amazing.

Now, I do have to warn you, the sex scenes get...interesting. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but let's just say it gets varied and intense at points, and might disturb some people. Pay attention to the warning in the blurb, there's a reason it's there.

My only real problem was that parts of the book could be confusing and it was difficult to keep track of who was who, who was talking, etc. Though it became much easier once I got further into the story.

All in all, I would recommend this story to anyone who likes thrillers, paranormals, and for you zombie fans out there, definitely a must.

Venetian Love Knots Blurb Blitz

In Venice, Allison Fox will find love in the arms of two men. Her past collides with her future in a battle for her heart. Which one will win?

Travelling to Venice to be the maid of honour in her best friend’s wedding sounds like a great vacation, and a romantic way to spend Valentine’s Day. But when Allison Fox discovers who the best man is, she is torn between duty and self-preservation.

It has taken Allison four years to put her tumultuous relationship with the rodeo cowboy behind her after a violent incident ripped them apart. Now Allison must find a way to face her past and find closure with her old flame. But will she be able to put the past behind her?

Cole is the Texas cowboy who has never got over his love for Allison. But when he declares his love for her after all this time, is she strong enough to walk away from the intense passion they share?

For years Nico, a handsome Italian, was committed to nothing but his work. Nico never expected he would meet an American beauty who would awaken in him a desire to love again. Once he finds her, Nico vows to never let Allison go.

It will be a Valentine’s Day to remember, but who will win Allison’s heart?

Looking around, Allison was expecting to see another kindly Italian lady, like the sweet one she
had met on the plane earlier. She did a stutter step when she saw the man holding the sign that had ‘Allison Fox’ scribbled on it.

Nothing could have prepared her for the tall, handsome man in his
exquisite Italian suit, searching the crowd with those piercing dark eyes. She saw him first, but when their gazes met the rest of the world seemed to melt away. He was so handsome, she was drawn to him immediately. She couldn’t quite believe this Adonis with the chiselled good looks was the person who was supposed to be retrieving her.

“Hi, I’m Allison Fox,” she said shyly.

“Oh, so you are Allison then?” The big man grinned happily, giving her a once-over. Judging by his smile, he seemed to like what he saw.

“Yes,” She hesitated, thinking that she probably shouldn’t just go off with a stranger, even if he was a good-looking one…

“I am Nico,” he said. “Nico Vitallini. Alfonso’s cousin. They sent me to pick you up. You are to be Marcia’s maid of honour, in the wedding, no?”

“Yes, I am.” Allison smiled. It was hard not to smile at him. The way he looked at her made her feel as though she was the only person in the entire airport. Her heart beat faster than usual. Were those butterflies in her stomach? Or was she just hungry?

“Come this way and we will collect your luggage. Here, please allow me to carry that for you.” He took her heavy carry-on bag from her hand in one graceful movement. The bag had been weighing her down, yet Nico tossed it around effortlessly. Allison bit back a smile.
